Senior Clerk Office of the Registrar
- Courteously greets students/faculty/staff. Works at the point of contact for the front lobby and resolves issues using documented policy and procedures.
- Maintains the distribution of student requests and changes to ensure that records and requests are being processed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Works with the Office Manager to advise of issues with processing and oversee that the proper procedures are being followed at all times and serves as liaison to the front desk staff.
- Evaluates student records for accuracy and provides specific information and assists with academic actions, forgiveness, drop/add, withdrawal, graduation, etc.
- Consults with faculty, staff and students when necessary.
- Responds to inquiries concerning academic status, enrollment status, class availability, degrees earned, etc.
- Edits and inputs transactions in Student Data System and processes changes in student records such as address changes, name changes and college major.
- Keeps order and professional appearance in counter and lobby area. Replenishes supplies forms, signs. Maintains an accurate inventory of necessary forms.
- Serves as backup for the Switchboard when necessary. Other job-related duties as assigned.
