We're actively hiring for an Electrical Shop Technician to join our team in Plant City, FL

Details: Your role includes troubleshooting, testing, maintaining, redesigning, rebuilding, retrofitting, and repairing various electrical equipment, which may include transformers, low or medium voltage circuit switchgear, transformers, and breakers.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming visual inspections for electrical and mechanical defects.
• Troubleshoot, test, maintain, redesign, rebuild, retrofit, and repair electrical equipment.
• Weld and paint equipment as necessary.
• Complete test reports adhering to company and customer standards and timelines.
• Strive to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
• Collaborate with other departments for seamless operations.
• Mentor and train junior Shop Technicians as directed.
• Provide offsite technical support as required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plant City, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $35.00/hr.
