Yacht StarShip Dining Cruises & Events operates Florida's largest and premier fleet of dining and wedding yachts out of Tampa Channelside and Clearwater Marina. Our dining cruises consist of lunch and dinner, private events, corporate functions, social gatherings, beautiful weddings, and much more.

Manthey Hospitality also owns and operates these exciting brands, all operating on the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa. Pirate Water Taxi offering scenic tours and private events, the Lost Pearl pirate ship offering pirate adventures and sunset cruises and Craft , a European-style dining vessel offering premium dining experiences while cruising and passing beneath the low bridges.

Yacht StarShip Dining Cruises is now hiring for a DJ/ Entertainment Host. This position's main role is to DJ while engaging and entertain guests on lunch and dinner cruises, corporate and social events, as well as DJ and MC weddings aboard our fleet of fine dining yachts.

Looking for a strong but soothing personality that is extremely comfortable speaking with a microphone. Prior wedding experience will be given top priority.

This is not a Club DJ Environment

We are an upscale dining yacht serving all age groups and families. Music that is played is family friendly using a laptop and controller. Personal equipment is used .

This position pays per shift. Shifts are approximately 4 - 5 hours in length, and 2-6 shifts per week could be assigned. It could be more or less, depending on the season. A wide variety of shifts are available and must need OPEN availability to work weekdays, weekends, daytime, evening, and special holiday events. Shift rates start at $200.

Most cruises depart from Tampa Channelside and Clearwater Marina, with other occasional locations. Must have dependable transportation.

Candidates must be:

• Professional in appearance and demeanor
• Engaging with guests, welcoming them aboard the yacht, visiting tables in the dining rooms, taking song requests, and acknowledging special occasions.
• Playing music on the promenade deck. Able to read the crowd to determine the type of music that should be played while taking requests.
• Must be comfortable speaking with a microphone to make announcements to guests, wedding introductions, and Master of Ceremonies with clear and articulate pronunciation.
• Use and set up A/V equipment on the yacht, such as microphones, sound systems, televisions, projectors, and screens.
• Assist the marine crew in daily duties on the yacht as well as safety procedures.
