Job Summary:
The Machine Setup Technician I for Capping Equipment will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining capping machines to ensure efficient and accurate operation. This role requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and adjust capping machines according to production specifications and requirements.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of capping equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with capping machines to minimize downtime.
Monitor the operation of capping machines to ensure product quality and consistency.
Collaborate with production and quality control teams to meet production goals and standards.
Maintain accurate records of machine setups, adjustments, and maintenance activities.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Train and assist other team members in the operation and setup of capping equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in setting up and maintaining capping machines or similar equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong communication and teamwork skills .
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials as needed.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
