Manufacturing Engineer
We have an Excellent Contract position for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading Company located in Orlando, FL.
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for translating complex engineering blueprints into clear work instructions and improving manufacturing processes using cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive work instructions from engineering drawings and parts lists.
- Implement automation and advanced technologies to enhance build efficiency.
- Lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.
- Develop process improvements that lower cost, increase quality, and accelerate delivery.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with writing technical work instructions.
- Minimum 3 years of workingexperience with composites fabrication and/or optical assemblies.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing floor environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Able to work in a cross-functional, teaming environment.
- Detailed knowledge of GD&T.
- SAP Experience.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma manufacturing concepts and techniques.
- CREO/ProE experience with a focus on tool design.
