Supply Chain Administrator

We are a growing company that is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Administrator to join our team. This is a unique role in that the position will support all supply chain procedures, from researching medical equipment and supplies, to placing orders, answering client emails, creating quotes and sales orders and planning of deliveries to our clients in the cruise/maritime industry. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, detail oriented and understand the order fulfillment cycle.

Since VIKAND is team-focused, this role will work from our home office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida .

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • · Process day-to-day order requirements for biomed and medical operations departments. This will include creating miscellaneous quotes, sales orders and purchase orders.
  • Assist in maintaining QuickBooks and ERP database, which will include entering of new items, suppliers, etc.
  • Assist in research of items and suppliers to allow for efficient and cost-effective supply chain practices.
  • Take an active role in larger client projects.
  • Liaison between internal departments (Procurement, Client services, Accounting and Logistics) and clients.
  • Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests
  • Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers in our Order Management System
  • Assist in overseeing the levels of our stock item and place orders as needed via use of the inventory tool in QuickBooks or ERP.
  • Backup to client services and procurement team when colleagues are absent/not available.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree preferred
  • Experience within the cruise/maritime industry strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and biomedical equipment is desired.
  • 1-2 years logistics experience with an emphasis on international shipping and knowledge of customs processes, LGA, incoterms and HTS codes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solver
  • Proficiency & experience working with QuickBooks Enterprise, Microsoft Windows, Word, Power Point, OneDrive, SmartSheet and other various platforms.
  • Expert level knowledge of Excel is required.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Can work with little supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
