ORIENTATION - Cart Attendant

Have a fun time serving Italian Ice at events around town and get paid for it! **Make an additional $10 per hour in tips - on average**

As a Sunset Slush cart attendant at Cacti Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, you’ll be right in the middle of the Spring Training action—serving up refreshing Classic Italian Ice to fans cheering on the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros during the 2026 season. This is a high-energy, outdoor role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced stadium environment and loves engaging with people.

Responsibilities include

•setting up and breaking down the cart

•actively hand-scooping and serving Italian ice with accuracy, efficiency, proper technique, and speed

•handling payment transactions (either Square or Clover)

•creating a fun, welcoming experience for every guest.

Attendants are expected to keep their cart clean, organized, and visually inviting, follow food safety guidelines, manage product inventory throughout the game, communicate any needs promptly, and represent the Sunset Slush brand with positivity, professionalism, and reliability while working independently during busy game days.

You will be outside and on your feet, but there is very little set up and the shifts aren't long.

Event Staff/Food Service

When working in Event Staff or Food Service Position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:

• Working independently or in a team to cook, prepare, serve, or transport food items
• Engaging with customers while operating a point of sale machine or cash register in a professional and courteous manner
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, or other items at the start or end of your shift
• Work on your feet, either stationary or constantly moving for the full shift
• Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities at times, as required by the immediate supervisor
• Comfortable working in a busy and at times hectic environment
• There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
• Note for that for any event staff position that requires handling food, you will need to follow GMP guidelines which include keeping your hair up, neatly trimmed fingernails, and you may be required to cover any facial hair.

It is important to Bluecrew that you go home in the same healthy state that you came to work in, so please do not accept this assignment if you cannot fulfill all of the above duties.
