Suppressor Production Planner
- Plan, manage and schedule suppressor production process to meet demand and deadlines.
 - Ensure production output meets quality standards and specifications.
 - Determine the amount of resources needed (workforce, raw materials etc.) to meet production schedule.
 - Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
 - Assist Director in resolving production issues.
 - Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
 - Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc. required to meet production demand.
 - Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
 - Supervise and evaluate performance of production staff.
 - Ensure all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free.
 - Establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.
 - Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
 - Ensure adequate scheduling of staff required to meet production demand and deadlines.
 
- HS Diploma or equivalent
 - Previous manufacturing production management experience required.
 - Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
 - Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
 - Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
 - Proficient in MS Office and FishBowl ERP software
 - Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills.
 - Ability to adjust and maintain a strong results-driven approach.
 - Must meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
 
- Work performed in a combination of machine shop and office environment.
 - Exposed to machine shop manufacturing elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.
 - Must be able to access and navigate B&T's facilities.
 
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted and up to 80lbs assisted.
 - Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
 - Frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop or crouch.
