Job Description

About GE Aerospace: At GE Aerospace, we believe the world works better when it flies, and we lead in the development and manufacture of advanced jet engines, components, and integrated systems for commercial and military aircraft. Joining us means becoming part of a collaborative and diverse team that values your unique perspectives, innovative spirit, and drive, while participating in our ongoing LEAN transformation to work smarter, not harder. Your contributions will have a meaningful impact on millions of lives, and you will share in our sense of purpose and pride.

Working at our Clearwater Location: Clearwater is a provider of engineering, circuit card assembly, OEM Avionics, and MRO services to commercial and military customers, with products and technologies that are diverse and highly sophisticated. Your work will contribute to systems that manage the performance of Boeing 737 and 787 aircraft as well as F-18s, F-35s, Harriers, and Apaches. In addition to working in a facility awarded OSHAS's highest safety rating, you will be part of a diverse team of 400+ employees, solving the global challenge of sustainable flight, earning merit-based rewards, working in a climate-controlled environment, and having opportunities for continuous learning and development.

In this hands-on role, you'll perform dimensional and visual inspections, document findings in our Quality system, and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams. You'll also maintain traceability by managing records in TIPQA, assigning serial numbers, and scanning documents. Your attention to detail and ability to navigate technical information will be key to driving operational excellence.

We're seeking a detail-oriented professional with a high school diploma (or equivalent), the ability to read technical instructions, and a willingness to become J-Std certified within 30 days of employment. If you bring 3-5 years of industry experience, knowledge of systems like TIPQA and Windchill, and a collaborative mindset, we want you to join our team. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing electrical components, materials, and supplies for damage and defects.
  • Document inspection findings in the Quality system and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate corrective actions with Quality, Admin, and Engineering teams.
  • Maintain traceability by scanning documents, assigning serial numbers, and managing records in TIPQA.
  • Support production and repair services with inspection expertise.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical information and instructions.
  • Soldering experience or willingness to become J-Std certified within 30 days.
  • Ability to lift/move materials up to 20 pounds and work with hazardous materials.
  • Knowledge of Oracle applications.
  • This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

Preferred Skills:
  • 3-5 years of industry or related job experience.
  • Proficiency in navigating online documents, drawings, and instructions.
  • IPC-A610 class 3 knowledge.
  • Familiarity with systems like TIPQA, Webdocs, Proficy, and Windchill.
  • Prior experience in a team-oriented environment.

Join us and be part of a team that values safety, quality, and innovation. Your skills will help us deliver excellence every step of the way!
