One of our companies is currently looking for a Sr. Data Scientist / Sr. Analytics Engineer in the United States .

This role is ideal for a data expert who thrives on transforming raw information into actionable insights and scalable data models. You’ll work within a growing Analytics team to support business decision-making through rigorous data analysis, visualization, and transformation. Your work will span ad hoc analysis, data modeling using dbt, and reporting through SQL and visualization tools. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, making complex data accessible and usable for non-technical teams. This is not a machine learning-focused role, but one that requires strong analytical thinking and an engineering mindset for data infrastructure and communication.

Accountabilities:

• Write clean, efficient SQL and Python code to support data analysis and light ELT pipeline development.
• Build and maintain dbt models to transform raw warehouse data into usable formats for analysis and reporting.
• Conduct exploratory and deep-dive analysis to identify trends, answer business questions, and support strategic decisions.
• Develop dashboards, charts, and visual reports using tools like Looker to share findings with stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and communicate analytical outcomes clearly and concisely.
• Support experimentation efforts by analyzing A/B tests to assess performance and recommend improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years (or a Master’s with 3+ years) of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Hands-on experience using dbt to model data in a modern data stack.
• Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
• Demonstrated ability to distill complex data into clear business insights and visualizations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with non-technical stakeholders.
