Pharmacy Intern
-Disease state management in chronic inflammatory disease, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, transplant, oncology, and infertlity
-Provide medication therapy management services across practice sites
-Pharmacist administered immunizations and off-site clinics
-Community outreach programs
-Patient centered dispensing
-Design and conduct practice-based research projects
-Present research findings at appropriate regional and national professional meetings
-Serve as an instructor in Pharmacy Practice Lab
-Complete a teaching certificate program
-Serve as preceptor to pharmacy students on advance community practice rotations Basic Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from a college or school of pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education
- Ability to obtain pharmacist license within the state of residency within the licensure requirement deadline
- Submission of residency application materials to Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS)
- Individuals must participate in and adhere to the rules of the ASHP Resident Matching Program.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. The current salary range for this position is $18.00 per hour - $31.00 per hour. The actual hourly salary within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.
