Physician Assistant-Certified
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage to determine the urgency of care needed.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions.
- Participate in clinical trials by assisting with patient recruitment, data collection, and monitoring.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in diagnosing and treating patients effectively.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide hospital medicine services, including managing inpatient care and coordinating with specialists.
- Manage data related to patient outcomes and treatment efficacy to improve overall care delivery.
- Support nursing home visits as needed, ensuring continuity of care for residents.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Prior experience in triage, medication administration, or clinical trials is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various medical systems.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is advantageous.
- Previous experience in hospital medicine or nursing home settings is a plus.

Pay: $148,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
