This places them in the top 5% of hospitals in the country for superior clinical performance and excellence. + Opened an offsite 24 bed, 24/7 emergency room in Central Pasco to better serve the emergency health needs of residents in west and central Pasco. **The role you'll contribute:** Provides patients with support treatment, care, and evaluations prior to and during transportation. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Identifies, intervenes, and stabilizes patients during transport, under the direction of the medical director and EMS protocols. + Provides direct medical care to patients during transport consistent with established EMS medical protocols and guidelines. + Establishes and manages advanced airways via intubation, Laryngeal mask airway (LMA), and/or cricothyrotomy as approved by EMS medical protocols. + Responsible to manage during transport, Ventilators, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Left ventricular assit devices (LVAD). + Responsible for administration of approved medications consistent with approved EMS medical protocols.
