We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join a skilled nursing team in Venice, FL . This opportunity is ideal for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys building meaningful resident relationships while helping patients improve function, increase independence, and enhance quality of life.
What You’ll Do:
• Perform evaluations and create individualized treatment plans as the treating Occupational Therapist
• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services focused on activities of daily living, functional mobility, strength, cognition, and independence
• Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident progress and successful outcomes
• Complete timely documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Educate residents and families on goals, treatment plans, adaptive strategies, and continued progress
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care
• Help create a positive rehab experience for residents and team members alike
What We’re Looking For:
• Licensed Occupational Therapist (or eligible for licensure) in Florida
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or geriatric settings preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• A patient-first approach and collaborative mindset
• Passion for delivering exceptional care as an Occupational Therapist
