JOB SUMMARY

This is a Revenue Specialist II position in the General Tax Administration Program, Receivables Management, Field Operations - Collection Process, located in the Tampa Service Center. The incumbent contacts taxpayers to resolve tax liabilities, makes corrections, recommends compromises, and collects taxes, penalties, interest, and fees due to the State of Florida. The incumbent also gathers information for final enforcement actions, prepares legal documents, and identifies properties subject to levy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • One year of experience working with accounts receivables, banking, collections, financial services OR one year of full-time direct sales experience that includes cold calling.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,419.08 monthly/$41,029.00 annually.
  • This position travels locally to taxpayers’ business locations. In addition, occasional overnight travel may be necessary for training purposes. For all travel, you will use your own means of transportation. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to agency policy.
  • The successful candidate will be required to make/answer a large volume of calls up to seven hours a day.

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,419.08 monthly/$41,029.00 annually.
