Jewelry Sales Associate

• We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product selection, and ensuring the sales floor is well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for helping customers find the right products. Bilingual skills are a plus to serve a diverse customer base. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop sales and merchandising expertise within a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
• Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of merchandise
• Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales
• Maintain merchandise displays through merchandising and stock replenishment
• Ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Handle cashiering duties including basic math calculations and retail math accuracy
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
• Maintain proper phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone
• Supervise or assist in supervising team members as needed, fostering a collaborative environment

Requirements:

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar stores
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math principles
• Strong communication skills, including clear phone etiquette and customer interaction skills
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is desirable
• Supervising experience is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are valued
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous to serve diverse clientele
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training will be provided as necessary
