Position Description

Are you a customer service pro? Do you have a vision for creating positive experiences with clients? Schumacher Automotive Group in North Palm Beach is seeking a Full-Time Service Cashier Receptionist!

The Cashier Receptionist responds to customer inquiries, receives payments for service transactions and plays a key role in maintaining or creating customer loyalty to Schumacher dealerships.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Greets customers at the service area in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Receives payments from customers and issues receipts to customers.
• Refers customers who have questions about the work performed, additional maintenance, or repairs etc., to the service advisor or other appropriate individual.
• Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
• Closes all open invoices.
• Assists service department with telephone coverage.
• Provides clerical and secretarial assistance to service department.
• Other duties or projects as assigned by Management.

Who are we looking for?

• 2+ years' experience in a receptionist or customer service role
• Positive attitude. Excels at communicating with customers and staff.
• A professional with the ability to address and resolve customer inquiries or complaints.
• Proficient computer skills and attention to detail.
• Must be available to work Weekdays and some Saturdays

A valid driver's license. All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to qualify for employment. Pre-Employment testing includes a successful background check and drug testing.

Requirements:

• High School Degree
• Proficient in computer skills
• 2+ years' experience handling customers and phone calls
