Customer Service Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Consumer Services Assistant to join a industry-leading company in the building materials sector. In this role, you will serve as the primary corporate point of contact for clients, customers, and internal team members regarding order status, product inquiries, and lead times. Working closely with the Consumer Services Director, you will deliver high-touch support, onboard new portal users, and resolve issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior background in a client-facing or customer support role. Experience within the building materials or construction supply industry is preferred.

• Software Skills: Proficiency with CRM systems

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Work Style: strong problem-solving ability, high attention to detail, and the capacity to prioritize tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for client and internal inquiries submitted via the customer portal.

• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions using CRM software.

• Navigate CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 to provide complete, valid product and order information.

• Manage customer complaints by offering timely solutions, alternatives, and necessary follow-up.

• Onboard new clients and internal employees onto the CRM and customer portals, gathering all required documentation.

• Collaborate across internal departments to address client concerns and ensure total satisfaction.
