- Manage post‑award contract execution and retention, ensuring compliance with contract terms, pricing, and performance requirements
- Drive utilization and growth of awarded contracts through strategic engagement with VA Medical Centers (VAMCs), DoD treatment facilities, and regional stakeholders
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Government Contracts, Legal, Pricing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing to ensure seamless federal account support
- Support development and maintenance of VA FSS, DLA, ECAT, and other federal contract vehicles, including modifications and extensions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists, clinical stakeholders, logistics teams, and federal supply chain leadership
- Monitor and interpret federal acquisition regulations (FAR), VAAR, and DFARS to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
- Track contract performance, key metrics, and renewal timelines to proactively manage retention and recompete strategies
- Represent the company at relevant federal industry days, government meetings, and conferences to expand visibility and pipeline
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND five (5) years of experience in the medical device or health products industry
- Three (3) years of demonstrated experience VA and/or DoD contracts, including VA FSS, DLA Troop Support, IDIQs, BPAs, or ECAT programs
- Experience negotiating contracts, navigating federal procurement (FSS/VA Schedules), and developing and executing business strategies compliant with government regulations.
- Excellent project management skills as well as strong business and financial acumen, especially in the context of federal budgeting and reimbursement mechanisms.
- Deep knowledge and expertise in healthcare economics, clinical outcomes, supply chain management, and the unique operating model of the VA healthcare organization.
