IT SPECIALIST

Position: IT Specialist

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our company's technological infrastructure, ensuring that all systems and processes are running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain all computer systems, servers, and networks for the company

- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues

- Install and configure new hardware and software as needed

- Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal functionality

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technological solutions to improve efficiency and productivity

- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and system integrity

- Train and support employees on the use of technology and software applications

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, and make recommendations for improvement as needed

- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services

- Assist with disaster recovery planning and implementation

- Conduct regular backups of all critical data and ensure data recovery processes are in place

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks

- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems

- Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

- Experience with data security and disaster recovery planning is a plus
