Job Description

Job Purpose:
Under the direction of the Logistics Manager, this position will be responsible for scheduling appointments, creating BOL, booking and tracking of trucks

• Track every outbound truck on the road
• Manage customer portals including but not limited to Retail Link and iTrade.
• Ability to keep up with logistics invoices on a daily basis
• Provide support for sales and operations team as it pertains to commercial moving and logistics projects
• Professionally communicate with vendors and customers via phone and internet
• Schedule appointments for pickups in coordination with shipping and production teams utilizing customer portals
• Schedule deliveries to ensure customer timelines are met and delivery expectations are fulfilled
• Generate precise and accurate bills of lading
• Track each load in transit and update the sales and coordination teams on the status of all shipments
• Identify and escalate issues or potential problems with shipments, ensuring timely resolution
• Ensure accurate data entry for all shipment tracking and appointment records daily
• Work effectively and efficiently to ensure all tracking information is provided to sales, logistics, and customer service teams promptly
• Rotate on call duties for the logistics department which include all the above and additional responsibilities of booking last minute trucks and communicating inbounds to Shipping with ETA.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Capable of working quickly, accurately, and efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines without compromising quality, must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance with the flexibility to work weekends when needed
• Strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to read and write in English, Bilingual a plus
