Carry-out attendant

Der Dutchman, Sarasota is looking for a friendly, organized Carry-Out Team Member to join our fast-paced restaurant. This role is all about accuracy, speed, and great customer service. You’ll be responsible for handling takeout orders from start to finish—making sure every guest leaves happy and every order is correct.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers and provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
2. Take accurate takeout orders and enter them into the POS system
3. Package food carefully, ensuring order accuracy and proper presentation
4. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order completion
5. Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions
6. Keep the carry-out area clean, stocked, and organized
7. Manage multiple orders during busy rushes while staying calm and efficient
8. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

Qualifications:

1. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
2. Strong communication and teamwork skills
3. Attention to detail and accuracy
4. Positive attitude and reliability
5. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
6. Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Availability:

1. Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
