Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations within a non-profit organization. Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness. - Perform high-volume data entry tasks, ensuring precision in financial records. - Handle invoice processing and manage high-volume invoicing operations. - Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Great Plains Accounting software to maintain and update financial records. - Reconcile discrepancies in financial statements and reports as needed. - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance. - Generate and review reports to support decision-making and organizational goals. - Maintain up-to-date documentation of financial processes and procedures. - Assist with audits and other accounting-related tasks as required. Requirements - A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related roles. - Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. - Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Great Plains Accounting software. - Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume data entry and invoicing. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions. - Effective organizational and time management skills. - Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. - Familiarity with non-profit financial operations is a plus.
