On-Site Tax Associate – Tax House Miami

Tax House Miami , an upbeat and modern accounting firm, is seeking an energetic Tax Associate with an accounting background to join our team and make an immediate impact.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow with a rapidly expanding boutique accounting firm. You will work directly with highly experienced accountants and Enrolled Agents, gaining hands-on experience and expanding your skill set.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is REQUIRED.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file individual and business income tax returns

• Assist with quarterly tax estimates

• Handle client inquiries, build relationships, and communicate with a young, modern client base

• Perform data entry and other administrative duties as needed

• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely tax preparation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience preparing and filing tax returns 2 years min.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Strong email and calendar management skills (Outlook preferred)

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multitask multiple clients and administrative tasks

• Comfortable communicating via phone and Zoom

• Willingness to learn new client management software

• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a related field

• 1-5 years of relevant experience preferred

Position Details:

• Seasonal role for tax season (January – April)

• Full-time opportunities may be considered for the right candidate

• On-site position in Miami, FL
