Position: Parts Manager Location: Miami, Florida
Salary Range: 83K to 87K
South Florida Caterpillar dealer seeking a Parts Manager. The candidate chosen will manage the daily parts operations, customer support, and service/technical efforts of KTC’s parts offerings.
Essential Functions:
· Oversee management of the Parts Department.
· Maintain capable personnel which can respond to peak loads and current activity.
· Cooperate with Service Group for the expedited resolution of problems.
· Represent KTC and direct contact with manufacturer and factory personnel on Parts related issues.
· Responsible for profit and loss of the Parts Department as well as other relevant metrics.
· Responsible for all Parts Department budgets and forecasts.
· Responsible for hiring, performance management and terminations of Department employees.
· Merchandise the Parts Department to all customers and prospects.
· Direct and assist the Department’s personnel in the highest performance of their jobs.
· Travel as required to assist salesmen/field service personnel in the positive promotion of the Department and its product offering.
· Promote safety and good housekeeping.
· Be responsible for security of building, grounds, and equipment.
· Ensure division compliance with all applicable KTC human resources, accounting, credit, etc. policies and procedures.
· Other duties maybe assigned.
Bachelor’s degree (4 year) with emphasis in Business, Marketing, Sales, or Engineering. Or suitable years of field experience with construction equipment products.
