Line Cook
We are a family restaurant who caters to the sports enthusiast. Gator's Dockside is entrenched in the community and is very involved with local schools, youth sports, and all other community activities. Gator's Dockside Waterford Lakes is looking for experienced line cooks to join our talented team. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our guest satisfaction and restaurant growth. Line Cook Job Responsibilities: Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauce Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift Ability to navigate a KDS system Able to work under pressure Attention to detail Ability to complete all opening and closing duties Line Cook Qualifications/Skills: Basic written and verbal communication skills Organizational skills Accuracy and speed in executing tasks Ability to work with all team member Follows directions and instructions Working at Gator's Dockside - Health insurance
