Shift: Shift 1 - Monday to Friday

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $20.04 - $25.05 / hour

Hiring Incentive: $1,000 Sign on Bonus

Summary

The Sterile Processing Driver is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of all Surgical Services products and items requiring transportation services between all Lee Health hospitals surgery centers, and offsite reprocessing center (ORC). Pick up and deliver all items on all scheduled routes or as needed for urgent/priority situations. When requested to make an urgent or unscheduled delivery, help determine the best method and directions of servicing these requests, including updating routes to improve delivery times and overall efficiencies. Know the specific locations and assigned routes, efficient directions to and from, delivery times, and delivery requirements. Perform other related duties with the job classification or as assigned.

Requirements

Education Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience Requirements:

Must be trained and have working knowledge of necessary material handling equipment.

State of Florida Licensure Requirements:

CDL Drivers License Class A at time of hire

Certifications/Registration Requirements:

Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Excellent customer service skill, ability multi-task, problem solve and work independently.

Working knowledge of computer, fleet management software application (Samsara System), data entry, and retrieval.
