We are seeking a qualified Commercial CSR / Insurance Agent with strong commercial insurance knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage client accounts from new business through renewals and servicing. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and delivers outstanding customer service. Must be able to hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial insurance accounts including renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and servicing
- Provide timely and accurate quotes, bind coverage, and issue policy documentation
- Communicate directly with carriers, clients, and brokers to ensure smooth underwriting and account management
- Use Vertafore AMS360 to process transactions, maintain client records, and track communications
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively supporting growth and retention
- Review and interpret carrier underwriting guidelines to ensure compliance
- Educate clients on coverages, limits, exclusions, and recommendations
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support agency goals
- Active Florida insurance license (Commercial Lines, 2-20 preferred)
- Bilingual with strong English speaking, reading, and writing skills
- Proven commercial insurance experience (CSR or Agent level)
- Familiarity with multiple carriers and their underwriting guidelines
- Strong knowledge of quoting, binding, and policy servicing
- Experience using Vertafore AMS360 (or equivalent agency management system)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
- Commercial Lines experience with varied industries (General Liability, Property, Workers’ Comp, etc.)
- Experience with agency workflows, cross-selling strategies, and service retention practices
