Barista (Part-Time), Scratch Market - Hilton Orlando
Hilton Orlando is looking to welcome a Part-Time Barista to join the team at the Scratch Market.
Our hotel, which features over 1,400 guest rooms is located near International Drive and directly connected to the Convention center. Scratch Market is the hotel's 24-hour gourmet marketplace that specializes in all things comforting and freshly made: the finest freshly ground Espressos and Coffees and gourmet, whole-leaf teas. SNACK on pastries, sandwiches, pizzas and sides made from scratch in our kitchen daily with the freshest ingredients from local purveyors, cage-free eggs, and responsibly sourced products. Hours: Open Daily; 24 hours
The ideal candidate holds 1+ years of experience as a Barista and/or cashier. A friendly/outgoing approach, a great approach to teamwork and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to work the required shifts.
Shift Pattern: Full Availability (between the hours of 3PM and Midnight) Weekdays, weekends, holidays as needed.
Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour, plus tips

What will I be doing?
As a Scratch Market Barista / Attendant, you would be responsible for greeting and serving guests beverages and/or food in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet guests and respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Brew, sell, promote and prepare beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Take guest beverage orders and accurately input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
- Maintains cleanliness of work area/outlet
- Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates and cards
- Requisition, stock and rotate products
- Secure and store all beverages, food and other equipment items
- Deposit cash drops, secure and balance bank and sign out/in keys
