Position SummaryAs a Line Cook, you play a critical role in delivering the quality and consistency that define the Nove experience. You will be responsible for preparing and executing menu items to our standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
We're looking for cooks who are passionate about food, eager to learn, and committed to working as part of a high-performing team.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
- Execute service with consistency, accuracy, and urgency
- Prepare fresh pasta, sauces, proteins, vegetables, and other mise en place as assigned
- Maintain proper food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
- Keep stations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service
- Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing deliveries using FIFO practices
- Minimize waste and properly handle ingredients
- Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow team members during service
- Complete opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities
- Support teammates wherever needed to ensure smooth operations

Experience making fresh pasta is a plus but not required—we're happy to train motivated individuals with the right attitude.
Qualifications- 1–3 years of professional kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Florida Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Knife skills and basic culinary techniques preferred
