Position Summary

As a Line Cook, you play a critical role in delivering the quality and consistency that define the Nove experience. You will be responsible for preparing and executing menu items to our standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.

We're looking for cooks who are passionate about food, eager to learn, and committed to working as part of a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
• Execute service with consistency, accuracy, and urgency
• Prepare fresh pasta, sauces, proteins, vegetables, and other mise en place as assigned
• Maintain proper food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
• Keep stations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service
• Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing deliveries using FIFO practices
• Minimize waste and properly handle ingredients
• Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow team members during service
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities
• Support teammates wherever needed to ensure smooth operations

Experience making fresh pasta is a plus but not required—we're happy to train motivated individuals with the right attitude.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Florida Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Knife skills and basic culinary techniques preferred
