Job Summary

A growing construction management firm specializing in hotel renovations is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee hospitality renovation projects from start to completion. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced construction leader who understands the pace, quality expectations, and coordination required in hotel renovation environments.

The Traveling Superintendent will manage day-to-day field operations, subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality control, and project communication across renovation sites. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily construction site operations for hotel renovation projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal project teams to maintain smooth project execution.
- Develop, update, and manage project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, materials, equipment needs, and subcontractor performance.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, code compliance, and adherence to OSHA and safety standards.
- Communicate project updates, issues, changes, and resolutions to stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $75,000 to $100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage hotel renovation construction projects from site mobilization through completion.
- Lead subcontractors, labor teams, vendors, and field personnel on active construction sites.
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, safety compliance, and quality standards.
- Coordinate field communication with project stakeholders, design teams, and trade partners.

- Hotel renovation construction experience is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar construction management role.
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate diverse teams in fast-paced job site environments.
- Must be willing and able to travel out of state for project assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant work experience in place of formal education.
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
