### What You'll Do
As an Accountant/Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and providing essential support to the management team. Your key responsibilities will include:

#### Financial Management
- Maintain and manage financial records using SAGE and ZoHo for invoicing, payments, and reporting.
- Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash balances.

#### Customer Billing & Accounts Receivable
- Generate and process customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely billing.
- Collaborate with account managers and customers to resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Manage accounts receivable, including tracking outstanding invoices and following up on overdue payments.

#### Supplier & Accounts Payable Management
- Process supplier invoices from a shared email account.
- Prepare payment runs to ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Oversee purchasing processes as needed.

#### Payroll Administration
- Administer payroll for employees and contractors using ADP.
- Handle new hire onboarding in ADP, including state tax registrations.
- Post payroll journal entries in SAGE.

#### General Accounting & Compliance
- Post journal entries for fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.
- Review and reconcile monthly staff and credit card expenses.
- Provide financial insights and support to management as needed.
- Assist with tax return preparation in coordination with an external accounting firm.
- Support audits and financial reviews.

#### Administrative & HR Support
- Maintain up-to-date government vendor records.
- Assist with internal HR processes, including onboarding, terminations, and employee record updates.
- Handle additional finance and administrative tasks as needed.

### What We're Looking For
We're searching for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented professional with:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant in a small to medium-sized company.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Experience with financial systems, specifically ZoHo and SAGE.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- A hands-on, "can-do" attitude with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
