DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The position is located in the Office of Administration which consists of five (5) bureaus: Budget, Finance and Accounting, General Services, Human Resources (HR), and Information Technology (IT).
- Draft and analyze proposed legislation. Prepare impact analyses and legislative summaries.
- Review conceptual proposals and develop narratives.
- Develop and manage internal policies and procedures. Collaborate with subject matter experts.
- Standardizes administrative processes. Serves as the liaison between bureaus.
- Research emerging issues, trends, and needs.
- Conduct management studies. Develop training materials and project plans.
- Inspect interagency agreements and memorandum of understandings (MOUs). Track renewals, and amendments.
- Examine audit responses and contract language.
- Evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
- Maintain documentation from inception to completion.
- Utilize technology to promote efficiency.
Develop detailed project plans, and business rules. Identify and mitigate risks. Align efforts across bureaus to avoid duplication.
Develop conceptual proposals, solutions, narratives, and fiscal impacts. Translate goals into actionable processes and procedures.
Review disciplinary actions. Recommend corrective actions.
Formulate or construct official communications. Handles correspondence, inquiries, and requests.
Interpret project and performance data. Prepare reports.
Ensures compliance with statutory requirements.
Maintains detailed records.
Provide guidance and recommendations to enhance websites and user experience. Ensure websites are updated properly.
Facilitate logistics for training, meetings, scheduling, and technology setup.
Research and compile reports to support decision-making.
