Dr. Pompa discussion about the sales role:
Initial Training Phase
All new hires begin with one week of training to ensure alignment with the role expectations and company values.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Client Assessment: Conduct a deep dive into the clients’ health, history, treatment, diagnoses, symptoms, and concerns and interpret the clients’ unique test results. Create a comprehensive health picture and link the clients’ specific symptoms/health complaints to previous treatment attempts and history of toxin and environmental exposures.
- Client Screening: Determine Pompa Program's ability to help clients reach their goals and improve their health, assess their commitment and potential compliance, and qualify and approve clients for the program.
- Customize a Plan: After assessment, independently determine the suitability of the Program(s) for each client, the best Program(s) for each client to enroll among Pompa’s various offerings, determine the best payment structure for each client, and otherwise customize the health plan for each client.
- Lead Conversion: Conduct 1-on-1 virtual consultations with prospective clients via Zoom to assess needs and guide them toward an informed purchase decision.
- Consultative Sales: Build rapport using an empathetic and educational sales approach to uncover client health challenges, identify gaps in their wellness journey, and recommend relevant Pompa Program solutions.
- Lead Nurturing: Proactively confirm, prepare, and follow up with assigned leads to ensure a high show rate and meaningful consultations.
- Seamless Handoff: Create detailed consultation notes for the client's health coach. These notes serve as a recommended starting point, dietary guidelines and important “upstream” causative factors the Health Coach will need for the care plan.
- Performance Standards: Expected to have 40-50 call slots per week with a 17% or higher close rate on booked calls. Expected to attend trainings and weekly meetings.
- CRM and Documentation: Accurately track sales activity, call notes, and pipeline management in CRM and Google Suite tools.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in weekly sales meetings, daily huddles, and workshops to refine sales skills and stay aligned with company standards.
- Training and Onboarding: Complete comprehensive onboarding, including product training, role‑playing, and systems instruction, prior to receiving leads. New hires will be part of a training pod reporting to a Sales Manager for the first 5‑7 weeks depending on performance. The training pod will be working with previous leads and will receive new leads once graduated from the training pod.
- Compliance & Conduct: Adhere to all company policies, ethical standards, and legal guidelines applicable to W‑2 employees.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of demonstrated success in sales, preferably in a high‑ticket or consultative model. Experience in remote/virtual sales is highly preferred.
- Sales Skills: Strong consultative closing ability, with confidence navigating objections and providing high‑value solutions.
- Tech Proficiency: Proficient with CRM platforms, Google Workspace, and Zoom. Must have reliable high‑speed internet and access to a smartphone and computer with video capabilities.
- Self‑Driven: Independent, proactive, and adaptable. High motivation to exceed quotas and KPIs in a remote work environment.
- Health Interest: A genuine interest in wellness, functional health, or alternative therapies. Formal knowledge of natural health, cellular healing, or physiology is a plus.
