The Opportunity- We are bringing our SEO strategy in-house and are looking for a foundational leader to own and expand our organic search engine. This isn't a role for someone who wants to hide behind a vendor; it is for an extremely capable, hands-on expert who wants to grow a company and build a best in class team.

As our SEO Lead, you will work directly with the CMO to architect our long-term strategy and eventually build your own team. We have a mature site and a massive digital footprint where organic search is already a primary revenue driver. With the expanding AI landscape (AIO, SGE, and LLMs), you will be responsible for ensuring our brand is not just indexed, but cited as a 'grounding truth' for generative engines. You will be given the tools you need, provided you can translate tech stack changes into measurable growth. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently on a combination of local, state level, and national organic search, with an eye for identifying gaps or opportunities and actioning on them. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities-

• Absolute Ownership: Own the technical health of our domains. You are the final word on Crawlability, Indexing, and Core Web Vitals.
• Strategic ROI Management: You must be a self-starter who can ruthlessly prioritize. You will manage your own time to focus on high-impact wins that move the needle on revenue, not just vanity metrics.
• Infrastructure & Execution: Conduct deep audits and work directly with the team to implement fixes. Identify problems and solve them.
• Roadmap Architecture: Create and pivot a comprehensive SEO roadmap that balances technical hygiene with content opportunity and authority building.
• Team Building: Act as the hiring manager to recruit, interview, and onboard SEO content specialists, technical support, and junior analysts as we scale this department.
• Data Command: Own our SEO tech stack (Ahrefs, GSC, GA4, SEMRush) and build custom dashboards that clearly communicate ROI to executive leadership.

• Requirements-
  Experience: 6+ years in SEO, with a heavy emphasis on technical architecture.
• Mindset: A "Founder" mentality. You are comfortable working in a high-accountability environment directly with the CMO.
• Self-Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects independently.
• Technical Stack: Mastery of GSC, GA4, SQL, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets. Knowledge of Python or AI tools for SEO automation is preferred.
• Platform Expertise: Experience managing and optimizing large-scale sites within WPEngine.
• Local Advantage: Based in or willing to commute to Boca Raton.
