Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$22.34 - $29.04 / hour

We are seeking a n LPN with experience in adolescent pediatrics.

Summary

Lee Physician Group is seeking an experienced LPN to join their Pediatric - Adolescent Outpatient office on Bass Rd. This LPN will primarily:

• Triage daily patient phone calls in order of importance
• Screening and referrals
• Perform medication prior authorizations and refills
• Schedule referrals and appointments for any specialized testing
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience a plus!
• FL LPN active license
• American Heart Association, Active BLS

Performs and documents selected tasks such as the administration of treatments and medications in delivery of patient care under the guidance and discretion of the registered nurse. Assist the Register Nurse in collecting health data according to established policies. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Uses knowledge of patients age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

State of Florida Licensure Requirements

Those that successfully complete the Lee Health LPN Internship (job code 3910) and have a signed LPN Residency Program Agreement must obtain a Registered nurse license within three years of hire.

Certifications/Registration Requirements

Additional Requirements

Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. 30 hour IV Course required.

Other Requirements

Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
