Successful Real Estate company Looking For Bookkeeper/ Accountant - Remote | WFH

What You'll Do:

Be the Financial Backbone: You'll be the go-to person for managing all our day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring everything runs smoothly and accurately.
Master the Numbers: From processing payroll and managing accounts payable/receivable to reconciling bank accounts and creating invoices, you'll have a hand in every aspect of our financial operations.
Keep Things Organized: You'll maintain meticulous records, file documents, and ensure our financial policies and procedures are up to date.
Generate Insightful Reports: You'll create monthly and year-end financial reports, providing valuable insights to help us make informed decisions.
Support Exciting Projects: You'll assist with construction projects by coordinating and providing necessary financial documentation.
Tackle a Variety of Tasks: You'll handle everything from managing mail and insurance certificates to facilitating audits and preparing 1099s.
Be a Team Player: You'll collaborate with supervisors and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Obtaining and recording financial data.
Computing and verifying numerical data.
Ensuring the accuracy of business transactions.
Performing data entry and administrative tasks.
Running weekly payroll.
Managing department mail.
Creating and sending invoices.
Tracking insurance certificates.
Facilitating internal and external audits.
Managing the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Arranging cash flow projections.
Producing year-end IRS documents.
Overseeing monthly accounting close and reconciliations.
Managing check processing and vendor payments.
What We're Looking For:

Experienced and Knowledgeable: You have previous experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, and a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Tech-Savvy: You're proficient in QuickBooks, Appfolio, Excel, and Word, and comfortable working with various computer systems.
Organized and Detail-Oriented: You have strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a keen eye for detail.
A Great Communicator: You have excellent communication skills and can work effectively with people from different backgrounds.
A Problem Solver: You're able to think critically and solve problems efficiently.
Education: An AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Experience with AIA documents, accounts payable, and expense reports is a plus!
