Trial Attorney - Insurance Defense

Sioli Alexander Pino is a fast-paced, high-volume insurance defense law firm seeking a skilled Trial Attorney with courtroom experience to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate is a confident litigator with a proven track record of handling trials, strong strategic instincts, and the ability to manage complex defense cases independently from inception through verdict.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as lead counsel on trials, arbitrations, and mediations in state and federal courts.
• Develop litigation strategy, conduct depositions, and argue motions.
• Prepare witnesses, experts, and clients for trial.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and trial documents.
• Analyze case facts, legal issues, and exposure to develop resolution strategies.
• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel.
• Manage litigation files independently, with support from paralegals and junior attorneys.

Qualifications :

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Minimum 3-5 years of litigation experience, including first- or second-chair trial experience.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury, workers' compensation, auto claims, premises liability, and/or maritime law.
• Excellent courtroom, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a full caseload and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience working with insurance carriers and understanding billing practices.
• Strategic thinker with strong writing and case management skills.
• Bilingual a plus.
