As a Bartender, you will craft exquisite cocktails, provide exceptional food & beverage service, and contribute to an unforgettable experience for our members and guests. Responsibilities:
Foster Member Relationships : Interact with members and guests in a warm and welcoming manner, addressing them by name when possible. Learn and notate member preferences, allowing us to personalize and elevate their experiences. Provide information about the club’s offerings and events.
Craftsmanship : Create and serve a wide range of classic and innovative cocktails with precision and artistry.
Menu Expertise : Provide tailored recommendations for guests / members by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage offerings including inspirations, origins, preparation methods, ingredients and allergens.
Collaboration : Work closely with Chef, management, culinary and service teams to ensure seamless dining experiences.
Inventory Management: Assist management with monitoring and managing bar inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste.
Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Professional Presentation: Lead by example in maintaining high standards of grooming and appearance, reflecting the establishment's refined image. Uphold Harbour Club's standards of service, professionalism, and hospitality at all times.
Qualifications:
The right charisma to enhance the bar atmosphere, engaging with members/guests in a manner that adds to the overall ambiance. A Bartender should be able to create a warm, inviting environment while maintaining an air of sophistication.
A deep passion for food, beverage, and delivering outstanding hospitality experiences
Passion/knowledge of wines, spirits and cocktails (mixology certification is a plus)
Experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality
Strong leadership and communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work a minimum of 4 shifts per week
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, traverse stairs and lift/carry heavy items on occasion
