Senior Data Analyst/Compliance Manager
Job Overview
The Senior Data Analyst/Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing both data analysis and quality assurance and (QA) functions to ensure operational excellence across Be Strong International’s (BSI) programs and services. This role combines leadership in data collection, processing, and reporting with strategic oversight of QA processes that safeguard program fidelity, service delivery, continuous improvement, and compliance. This individual collaborates closely with the Senior Program Manager and Executive Team Leaders to extract insights, uphold performance standards, and promote a culture of data-informed decision-making and quality enhancement. This position demands strong analytical and leadership skills, proficiency in data systems, attention to detail, and the ability to translate both data and QA findings into organizational improvements.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with senior leadership to analyze program and organizational data to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage full data lifecycle, ensuring data is clean, reliable, and used proactively for organizational learning.
- Design and maintain databases and dashboards that reflect performance trends, grant compliance, and outcomes.
- Interpret statistical data and present findings in reports tailored to leadership, funders, and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement quality and compliance plans, policies, and checklists that align with program goals and contractual obligations.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of program operations, documentation, and service delivery for compliance and consistency.
- Track key indicators and collaborate with departments to ensure program fidelity, compliance and process improvement.
- Support grant design and performance measurement, ensuring QA processes are embedded in grant deliverables.
- Assist with ad hoc grant reporting and documentation as needed.
- Ensure data and service tracking align with funding requirements and standards.
- Lead onboarding and ongoing training of staff in QA and data-related best practices.
- Supervise direct reports and evaluate performance, ensuring continuous professional development and compliance with BSI protocols.
- Communicate and address performance or data quality issues in alignment with organizational policy.
- Prepare detailed documentation of data methodologies and QA procedures for internal use and replication.
- Clearly communicate findings and processes to non-technical stakeholders through presentations, trainings, and written reports.
- Maintain confidentiality and security standards across all systems and reports.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay current with trends in data analytics, QA, and compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience, Qualifications and Skill
- B.S. or M.S. in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Quality Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in data analysis and quality assurance, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Advanced Excel skills and expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong experience with SQL, CRM systems, and data lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, standards (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma), and audit methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience managing staff, setting performance expectations, and promoting continuous learning.
- Ability to translate complex data and QA findings into clear, actionable strategies.

Physical Demands:
This position is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear. The position requires extensive computer use so the employee must have sufficient hand dexterity to use a computer keyboard and be capable of reading a computer screen.
