Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Superintendent to oversee daily field operations for our construction projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in site development, landscape, hardscape, or general construction, who can ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across multiple active job sites.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to coordinate between project management, subcontractors, and field crews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all on-site construction activities and crews.

• Coordinate scheduling of labor, materials, and equipment.

• Ensure work meets specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and project layouts.

• Conduct daily site inspections for safety compliance and production tracking.

• Communicate progress, delays, and issues to project managers and leadership.

• Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to scope and timelines.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and photos.

• Lead safety meetings and uphold company safety culture.

• Support training and mentorship of field staff to promote growth and consistency.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in construction or site development (supervisory experience required).

• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and general construction practices.

• Ability to read plans and manage field operations independently.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and basic software (Buildertrend, or similar platforms a plus).

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
