Substation Engineer (Onsite)

14046 – Substation Engineer (Onsite) – Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration : 6 months with possible conversion to direct hire
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. Travel up to 20% of time.

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Palm Beach Gardens, FL (required);
• Experience working as Principal Engineer (5-7 years);
• Experience in substation engineering, construction and/or management;
• Experience verifying construction turnover process appropriately;
• Experience with asset management systems and document management systems
• Valid driver License
• Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineer, other engineering degrees

Preferred:
• Experience in power generation or renewable energy technology
• Expertise with Maximo and Documentum

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Oversee document turnover and file management for newly constructed substations within the renewable energy fleet.
• Store and manage test records, drawings, and configuration files.
• Serve as a substation subject matter expert.
• Supervise the contracting team to execute processes in the field.
• Drive continuous process improvements.
• Support the transfer of asset attributes into the asset management system
