Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Prepares Credit Memoranda in collaboration with Commercial Relationship Managers and other deal team members focused on specialized lending, recommending credit decisions and loan structuring.
• Participates in Credit Committee meetings as a committee resource.
• Reviews, organizes and analyzes financial information relating to existing and new clients in a timely, efficient manner.
• Complete credit investigations in partnership with the deal team and demonstrate the ability to work directly with clients and other involved third parties to augment credit decision making.
• Maintains the confidentiality of credit and customer information.
• Observes safety and security procedures and guidelines.
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of, and compliance with, Federal and State banking regulations and adherence with all Bank policies and procedures.
• Provides professional, courteous and efficient service to all internal and external customers.
• Reviews and provides feedback on the work product of other credit analysts, as requested, for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinates materials for Board Credit Committee meetings.
• Review requested audit items and prepare for internal or external audits.

Working Conditions

• Typical office environment. Minimal physical effort required, normally seated with freedom of movement on a regular basis. The incumbent will be expected to be able to work Monday through Friday and work will mainly be performed at the Maitland location; occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Flexibility with work location and hours may be granted if circumstances permit.

Qualifications Summary

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics

Experience

• 5 to 10 years of related work experience with commercial loans. Accounting/finance background a plus.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Word and Outlook.
• Intermediate level overall computer skills.
• Team player with superior customer service skills.
• Advanced math, accounting, and statistical analysis skills.

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$125,000 and is commensurate with experience.
