Litigation Attorney
Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Litigation Attorney for a direct hire opportunity with a respected legal services team in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for an independent, detail-oriented, and motivated attorney with strong litigation experience and an interest in product liability, production defect, and liability defense matters. The Litigation Attorney will work in a collaborative, professional office environment where attorneys are expected to contribute meaningfully to case strategy, client communication, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys substantive litigation work, values high-quality legal writing, and wants to grow within a team-oriented practice supported by experienced leadership. Key Responsibilities - Investigate, analyze, and defend liability matters, including product liability and production defect cases.- Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and manage discovery-related responsibilities.
- Draft pleadings, motions, reports, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents with strong attention to detail.
- Argue hearings and assist with developing case strategy from intake through trial preparation.
- Communicate with clients, provide case updates, and prepare detailed reporting as needed.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff while independently managing assigned litigation tasks. Compensation and Benefits - Salary range: $110,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage litigation matters involving liability defense, product liability, production defects, and related disputes.- Prepare cases for trial, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and client reporting.
- Take and defend depositions and argue hearings with confidence and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding case developments, strategy, and reporting requirements.
- 4 to 10+ years of litigation experience preferred, with candidates in the 3 to 5 year range also considered based on experience.
- Strong working knowledge of investigating and defending liability matters.
- Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and case preparation skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional work ethic, and high level of motivation.
- Must be able to travel as required for case-related needs.
- Juris Doctor degree and active license to practice law in Florida are expected for this attorney role. Preferred Qualifications - Product liability litigation experience.
- Production defect litigation experience.
- Trial experience.
- Strong academic credentials, ideally from a reputable law school with top 10 percent class standing.
- Experience reporting to and interacting directly with clients.
- Comprehensive writing sample demonstrating strong litigation writing skills.
