General Laborer

Responsibilities

• Operate landscaping equipment such as weed-eaters, edgers, chain saws, pole saws, and loppers safely and efficiently
• Inspect and maintain equipment before and after use, including cleaning and refueling as needed
• Trim grass, weeds, and trees, especially in areas not accessible by mowers
• Maintain clear and tidy edges along sidewalks, driveways, and flower beds
• Remove leaves, debris, trash, and fallen limbs from grounds to ensure cleanliness and safety
• Blow debris from roads and sidewalks to maintain a neat appearance
• Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures, and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, cold, and extreme heat

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in landscape, grounds, or tree removal work (personal lawn care does not qualify)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks outdoors
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Professional, well-groomed appearance
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Successful completion of a mandatory Federal background check (no felonies)

Compensation

$22.84 per hour

Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
