As Business Systems Support Analyst, you will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who provides Production Support and Operational Support for the various systems and interfaces used by Travel Services for booking cruise reservations and their related package items. These systems are used both shoreside and onboard our ships. You will also need substantial knowledge of all Disney Cruise Line processes and systems from our guests visiting our website through the shore side reservation systems all the way through the cruise experience.
You will report to the Manager, System Strategies.
Your Responsibilities - How You Will Make a Difference
- Liaison between Business Operations and Business Technology providing information and guidance to the business unit that will have a significant impact on their planning and business making decisions.
- Capture operational requirements for, or on behalf of, Travel Services, Terminal Operations and other internal/external partners.
- Assist Business Technology Partners to ensure the quality of our systems and services meet the business needs.
- Perform and coordinate user acceptance testing of new system releases, incidents, outages and issue resolution.
- Responsible for effective and timely communication of issues, incidents, new releases and outages.
- Gather requirements, design, build and manage business rules within applications.
- Provide appropriate systems access within established guidelines and perform access audits to comply with strict SOX/PCI Security controls.
- Depending on assignment, Cast Member may be asked to travel domestically and internationally on a frequent basis as needed in support of the business operation. If assigned to such responsibilities, travel may account for up to or in excess of 20% of the working year.
- Support of embarkation operations Cast Members and Third Party Partners, providing guidance and training at our outport locations and in support of new ship construction, launches and dry docks.
- Must be available 24/7 and provide rotational on-call support including nights, weekends and holidays. On-call support may require immediate action, escalation, oversight and maintained engagement until impact resolution has been achieved.
Basic Qualifications - What You Will Bring to the Team
- Strong knowledge in one or more cruise or travel related applications such as Seaware, Fidelio, OARS, DXP and Quickbase and willingness to learn new applications
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with software and hardware hierarchies and related dependencies
- Experience with reporting applications such as Business Objects and Tableau
- Develop Standard Operating Guides, manuals, policies, and procedures and partner with the appropriate Training teams to provide support across lines of business
- Proven ability to be a self-starter with minimal supervision and follow-up
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, successfully meeting deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent planning, organizing and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Disney Cruise Line and Adventures by Disney products and services
- Prior leadership experience
- Experience developing automated forms and workflows
- Knowledge of SAP, report writing applications and property management systems
- 5+ years of technical systems experience
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
