Gastroenterology Clinical Research Leader (MD/DO) – Naples / Ft. Myers, FL 🌴- Hybrid Position
United Digestive – Physician-Led. Patient-Focused
United Digestive is seeking a Clinical Research Leader (MD/DO) with a strong background in gastroenterology-focused clinical trials. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and expand a dedicated GI research program in one of the fastest-growing markets in Southwest Florida.
If you are passionate about advancing treatments for IBD, ulcerative colitis, GERD, metabolic/obesity disorders, and registry-based studies, this role offers the chance to shape the future of GI research while enjoying the lifestyle of Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Position Highlights
Lead and grow a dedicated gastroenterology research program in a high-demand market
The research compensation model includes ~25% of visits tied directly to clinical trials.
Flexible design:
Dedicated research leadership role OR
Hybrid 50/50 practice + research track for MD/DO candidates
Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and experienced research staff
Qualifications
MD or DO with gastroenterology or clinical research experience
Prior involvement in clinical trials preferred
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Commitment to advancing clinical care through research innovation
