ASSISTANT TEAM LEAD (ATL) POST RETAIL/ SALVAGE

THE POSITION:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Team Lead to join our team at our salvage facility. The Assistant Team Lead will support the Facility Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety and compliance, managing staff, and optimizing the facility’s performance.
As an Assistant Team Lead, you will:
- Provide world class customer service to all internal and external customers
- Partner with the Facility Manager to train, develop, supervise, and evaluate team members
- Train to master all aspects of delivery and unloading of donations and material handling equipment
- Support the facility with necessary activities such as inventory control, demonstrate stewardship of donated goods, and demonstrate the use of the compactor, the horizontal and both vertical balers.
- Preparation and delivery of huddles, supporting TLC as needed
- Inspect work environment to identify potential safety issues. Support a Safety Culture, supporting the TLC during team meeting safety training, inspections, and monthly drills.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience in a retail warehouse environment preferred
- Must be willing and able to workdays, evenings, and weekends
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
THE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
- Must be able to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects as required by job and to lift up to 40 pounds regularly, and up to 60+ pounds occasionally. Might be required to lift heavier items, using material moving equipment or team lift.
