POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT Moss' Senior Compensation Specialist will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing our organization's compensation programs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of compensation structures, market trends, and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices that support our talent retention and attraction efforts. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Compensation Strategy: Support development and implementation of comprehensive compensation strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry benchmarks
  • Job Evaluation and Benchmarking: Conduct job evaluations, market analysis, and benchmarking, to ensure competitive and fair compensation for each position within the organization. Lead participation in benchmark surveys
  • Compensation Program Design: Recommend strategies to optimize various compensation programs, including base pay, bonuses, and long-term incentives
  • Compensation Cycle Management: Lead annual compensation cycle, including annual merit increases and bonus processes
  • Policy Development: Develop and maintain compensation policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Data Analysis: Analyze compensation data to identify trends, address issues, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with HR business partners, operations, talent acquisition, payroll, accounting, finance and other stakeholders to understand workforce needs and align compensation strategies accordingly
  • Communication and Education: Communicate compensation programs to employees, ensuring clarity and understanding. Provide education and support to managers and employees on compensation-related matters
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in compensation laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance with relevant legislation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in compensation, with a focus on program design and implementation
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using compensation analysis tools
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation trends, market practices, and relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across different levels of the organization
  • Experience with Compensation and Advance Compensation SKUs in Workday preferred
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
