Physician- Non-Invasive Cardiology
CenterWell in The Villages is seeking a full-time onsite Non-Invasive Cardiologist. As a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will provide expert cardiovascular care to individuals, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients within our internal referral network of over 80 Primary Care Providers.
- In-house diagnostics including echocardiograms, nuclear, and vascular services.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including primary care physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and management strategies.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans in response to patient progress, changes in health status, and evolving clinical findings.
- Hospital Rounding optional.
Job Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board eligible or certified.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate care.
